About Pleascent

Pleascent is a luxury home fragrance company, formed by a desire to bring beautifully scented, hand crafted candles into homes across the country. Founded by Latisha Bender, a firm believer in the power of Christ and a former health care professional, she got the idea to start her company, after taking a candle making class in April of 2019. Realizing how relaxing and fun the art of making candles truly was, she began to think about the possibilities of starting her own candle company.

As this dream grew stronger, she attended more classes, learning not only new techniques and safety measures, but also business branding. With her growing knowledge, as well as being inspired by her undying love of home candles and fragrance, she turned her dreams into a reality and launched Pleascent. Here, it is her mission to fill homes with warm and welcoming ambiances by offering diffusers, mists and of course luxury candles that feature cruelty free, coconut wax, and premium fragrance oil blended with essential oils. Promoting healthy, clean environments, her candles are free of paraffins and phthalates, using cotton wicks instead of lead wicks, making them safe to burn and allowing for chemical free fragrances that set the tone for any occasion.

While continuing to offer these products, it is Latisha's hope that the future will allow for growth that expands throughout the world. God willing, this growth will make it possible for her to establish candle bars which would open the door for others to start their own journey into candle making, gaining not just a new hobby, but above it all, a sense of peace and joy.
